Day 1

I woke up trying to get the last bits of sleep before heading on the road to start my journey. It was the day after Easter and two days after the redwood run which I now could feel in my thighs.
Easter was a joyous celebration of hordes of good food and family joining. Although my emotional age of 13 didn't make socializing that easy with my family.
You see as a 13 year old child I was anything from a charismatic magnet of joy. No I was more like a rebellious dark stain on your clothes.
And now I was getting pushed into the car to travel down south and give my cousin, Samantha a ride to LA. I still needed to figure out where I was going to stay for the night!
I didn't mind the company, and most of the way down we just listened peacefully to soundtrack music.
I tend to go for the songs with no lyrics...its easier that way. Then I can spend more brain power thinking...I love to think.
On the ride down, I spoke to Jess Block, our amazing publicist from Felten Media Services working on behalf for JuntoVenture's Bolivia EcoVenture. Jess informed that I was booked to work alongside the mayor of Los Angeles to plant trees on Saturday.
Yes!
Jess suggested getting other people involved that's where the idea of extending it to the Excursion Club members arose. This would be a perfect project for them. The email was going out...
